good luck in the weather today, hope there isn't too much water flowing over the locks for you...

Thanks Iain. Mixed bag weather wise - lateish start due to weather related road traffic problems holding up the Scottish canals engineer from getting down check the bridge & give the ok to open it. Started the day in waterproofs, finished in T-shirt & shorts, back to Falkirk today.

Water flow over the top of the lock gates seemed to be the same amount as when we came down (about 2"), was able to keep to the down stream side of the lock to prevent any cascading on board
