tagulablue
i know a lot of people comment on the brilliant photos that forum members post and I often think I'd like a print of this or that. This may be a silly idea but with permission from the photo owners how do you feel about a photo competition with the winners being made into a canalworld forum calender. This could either sold for canalworld forum funds or split with a charity
FirstRateFirstMate
I think this is a really good idea, i'd love to submit some of my best pictures and see what other people have taken, I would definitely buy it.

magictime
I don't think it's a silly idea at all, but it would involve a fair bit of work to manage submissions, judging, formatting/printing, and dealing with orders...

system 4-50
Sorry, I wouldn't buy it. A Sasco wall chart handles the engagements and the internet does the pictures. And a calendar refuses to hang at the right number of degrees on the cabin wall. If one was supplied with adjustable gravity I might consider it. But the material for such a thing is abundant and excellent as shown above.

dogless
No point now. I think Junior's set the standard too high. Hard to believe you've captured those on just a phone. Beautiful pics, thanks. Rog

tagulablue
ok I'm crap at the tech stuff but I can organise distribution of calenders... I'll put up nominal price of £10 per month of calender and suggest we start topics for each month plus cover. Winners to be picked by forum members and proceeds to be split between canalworld and a charity you can vote on???
