Just fitted Perspex window in my side hatch unfortunately forgot to explain this to the cat who decided to jump off the bed through the hatch like she did yesterday. Luckily nothing injured but her pride.

Must have been hilarious to watch. Cats are such supercilious creatures that to see one taken down a peg is always fun. They usually bounce, too.

Must be the silly season - my daughter's little Tibetan terrier came running up the back steps, jumped onto my cruiser stern - except it wasn't there! I was down the engine 'ole with the deck boards open. Don't know who was most surprised, a very confused dog - or me, wondering how dogs could suddenly fall out of the sky.

 

So between both stories I suppose we could conclude it was raining cats and dogs last week!

Our mog still hasn't forgiven me for opening the side hatch (water side) without first checking that she wasn't sunning herself on the gunwales.
