Oil Pressure sender

I am in need of some help I have come across a situation that I can not answer

 

I am installing an electrical oil pressure send on a 2 cylinder Gardener insure of the letters after the number

 

Please can someone advise where to install the sender

 

Also please add what the thread of the plug is please

If its an LW engine then the oil pressure line from the filter back to the engine (on the non flywheel side of the filter) should have a tapping for a pressure gauge. My parts manual suggests this is 1/4 BSP and should be fitted with a 1/4 BSP male to female adaptor with a 0.020" hole (restrictor). This is from a manual circa 1971, so reasonably late on.

 

You may well need an adaptor as senders tend to be 1/8 BSP or NPT.

 

If you can post a picture of the filter and pipework the ollective knowledge on here can probably help more.
