Vertical calorifier

Hi

I've inherited a vertical calorifier and it's to big to fit in the cruiser stern on my springer,

Does anyone know if it would be a problem if I fitted it on the horizontal?

Cheers

Yes, the hot outlet won't be at the top and the cold inlet won't be at the bottom, so as soon as you run a bit of hot off, it will all go a bit tepid.

Although if you're lucky you might be able to arrange it with the hot water outlet half way up and the cold water inlet at the top, so you could connect them up the other way round. But you would still have problems bleeding the coil.
