Pete & Helen
Any relevance ie. Not tied up bad vibration in tiller same under sail if say I went to1800 rpm bad vibration hard to pull starboard or port A lot of tiller vibrate for one reason or other. From memory of other threads:- loose rudder prop out of balance (either physically or because its fouled) bent rudder shape of rudder so that the prop wash affects it more bearings worn The list goes on as to hard to pull port or starboard at 1800, could be be that the rudder isnt balanced, so the faster you go the harder it is to move the tiller. or you could eat more wheetabix ETA. search in the forum for "rudder" and there are a few threads discussing this point Edited February 25, 2015 by Pete & Helen

Not tied up bad vibration in tiller same under sail if say I went to1800 rpm bad vibration hard to pull starboard or port Sounds like something fouling the prop. or wrapped around the rudder. Could be a bent blade or the rudder has come out of the cup on the skeg. Edited February 26, 2015 by Flyboy
zenataomm
Has it suddenly started behaving like this? Was it ok before? If so I agree with what those above are suggesting you look at first. Or have you just bought it and it's doing this?
