Yes I'm afraid I have to agree. That womans voice did not make me want to watch that film I'm afraid.

Very strange film. Must have taken a lot of effort to compile and the narration was very detailed. Disappointed that often the video had little to do with the narrative. The filming was uninspiring at times and needed a few close-ups to show the details and bring some variety to the transitions. A missed opportunity. I wonder who the intended audiance was.....

It nearly lost me when a video entitled 'living on the canals' had a hire boat leaving a lock in the opening sequence??

At 16:35 onwards

 

There are two ways of licencing a boat to liveaboard :

 

1) If you want to continuously cruise then you need a Pleasure Boat Licence

2) If you want a permanent Residential Boat then you need a House Boat Certificate.

 

 

It appears that the concept of Liveaboards with a Home Mooring must post-date the Video
