Tiller Pins

Having 'lost' a tiller pin that didn't float and being suprised at the price of a new one I had a look around the charity shops.

 

Finding a brass fireside set for £2.50, and with a little help from a hacksaw this gave me four pins with nice shaped tops...quite a bargin!

Dont be daft! the toilet rolls would get soggy if they dragged in the water!

 

They are to be conserved for use as spare chimneys in case you lose one under trees!
