Sunday palm tree, Vicky park and CHUG. Mon 2nd angel and battlebridge and st pancras. Tue through Camden, little Venice, Kensal rise and Southall. Wed re load then down to Brentford. Well we've had a very pleasant weekend mixing business with pleasure. We've caught up with a few CWDF members including Liam & Kerry on Ariel & Joe, Ally & Derek on Taurus and George & Irene on Badger.

 

This afternoon we're listening to Tom Kitching & co play music & song written aboard Spey. Then there a tug o'war between Worcestert & MSC Bantan II. After that we're heading of back to Chester. During the rest of the week we're delivering to Nantwich, Anderton, River Weaver, Preston Brooke, Middlewich, Kidsgove, Congelton, Macclesfield & Whaley Bridge.

Ariel and BCN 108 are loading up today and will be delivering at Stretford later this afternoon.

 

We will then be heading up through Lymm and to Preston Brook on Saturday, returning to the Lymm area for Saturday night. We'll then be heading back to Sale/Stretford on Sunday.

we went passed pete wakehams coal boat at windsor today the steerer said it was called swindon as there was no name on it and it was his 6th coal boat the others are called. Baron . Taurus.upwood. Ash . snipe. All to work in the south

Just filled up at Plank Lane lift bridge on the L and L from Russ at 84p.(07969 801 449). Friendly bloke with coal and gas too. Says he will deliver between Parbold and Worsley or further if you want lots!

This weekend Ariel and Joe (BCN 108) are fully stocked and will be in and around Dunham on the Bridgewater Canal this weekend for the FBCC Rally.

We're had a fun couple of weeks boating down to Ellesmere Port & the Weaver. It's been good to meet a few CWDF members & other Tweeters on the way :-).

 

Today we're heading from Marple up the Peak Forest Canal to Whaley Bridge & Bugsworth & back to Marple this evening. Tomorrow we're heading down Marple Locks early to Ashton & hopefully back up Marple that evening. As there's lots of talk of volunteer Lockies on here, if anyone wants to come lock wheeling with us feel free to come along ;-).

 

On Tuesday we've heading back down the Macc from Marple to Macclesfield, re-loading on Wednesday & off down Bosley Locks on Thursday to Red Bull. Then for Friday & the weekend we will be attending Etruria Canal Festival, hopefully see some of you there, come & say hello.

It has been in Brentford for a few days now - moored up quietly in the marina. Not sure why.

Pete slung Swindon in next to us for a few days because he couldn't get it passed Clitheroes lock on the Sunday due to a short stoppage because of a pollution problem. All sorted now. He intends to bring Swindon down to Brentford every fortnight. The pump out he has on board is really good and knocks spots off of the BW rubbished across the way.
