casper ghost Posted November 5, 2009 Report Share Posted November 5, 2009 I have the Barrell type one in my wooden chalet. It absolutely throws out heat, great for cooking on. I had to fill the bottom with sand to shut it down, otherwise it just roared away. No hope of keeping fire in all night, unless I go to bed at 5am .
