  5. Hi, just fitted these to my 68 foot boat, fitted 10 42" inch windows in 2 hours on my own. Buy the powdercoated ones as the finish & durability is much better. The advantage is that if the glass breaks, you dont have to take the whole window out you just change the glass. Cleanng the outside of the window will be a breeze as the glass can be pulled out from the inside. Hope this helps. Pete
  6. Hi, I too took the design & build it my self route, I run a fabrication company and I thought that I would make use of the new £400,000 laser & pressbrakes I had invested in, give them a purpose so to speak. I designed the boat a 68 footer on Autodesk Inventor 11- 3D modelling software. The design is a bit over the top but having carried out the structural calculations I might convert it into an aircraft carrier. I have posted a couple of pictures in my area. Hope yours is going ok. Peter
  7. Hi, go for the Worcester Marine windows, quality is excellent & fitting a doddle. Use sikaflex to seal them, this can be overpainted..............silicon cant.
  8. Hi, ideally should be 250mm above water line.
  9. Hi, the maximum distance from the back of the sterngland to the boss on the prop should be no more than 1.5x the diameter of the prop shaft
