  1. The bridgewater canal looks like a rough sea . frothy white waves and blowing a gale , the boat is rocking and rolling
  2. Ariel is very similar under the water to Python and Own, being a Yarwoods built boat for Midlands & Coast. The bottom was replaced with steel and has the same step. I can't tell you about the front (half) as that sank and was scrapped in the 60's or 70's.

  8. Food should be kept at a constant temp whilst in the fridge so turning it off isnt a good idea , i read its about 4 hours as long as the door is kept closed, best if it can be left on

Dont moor up where the trip boat used to berth , kids use it as a meeting place . we were there in august and got woken up at 6am by one of the scrotes running on the boat roof and then proceeded to throw off one of our fold up chairs off the roof of the boat into the river, by the time we had got out of the boat they were sat down on the bench chatting away as bold as brass , hed of ended up in the river if id of caught him doing it , i was livid to say the least

Thanks for replying Ark Right - We are aware it has to be the correct metal ,sorry cant help the timing sods law and all that ,the main reason we want to replace is that the one thats in now has a bit of play re the width of it but its in excellent condition Cheers tim , i remember you repaired our boat a few years ago , cracking job mr Unity said

Whilst our boat is out for "Blacking " we checked the split pin on the prop and wish to renew it, anyone know anywhere in / near manchester we can get one ? went to a few places today but theyre all to small in length and width, tried to phone crowthers in oldham but got no answer, are they still trading does anyone know? Well , weve had the fridge installed by a gas fitter friend to run off gas, we tried it in the week for a couple of hours with a carbon monoxide detector positioned very near the fridge , and all seems well , said gas fitter said hel " vent it " when we get back off our two week trip out if we require it ,wel see how it goes when we cruise next friday
