I think your complaints were heard, we woke up this morning and found this replacement Automat Sensucht which operates the same way as the old one.

Team Whisky Galore are making their way to Huddlesford Junction ready for tomorrow morning.

We are going to look at a boat which has an SR3 with reduction box and gearbox. What should we be looking for when examining the engine? We know very little about these engines except that they were the work horses of hire boats so must be reliable. Any help/guidance would be welcomed. Thanks.

Hi All, When we visitied Snibston recently Belmont was still in the playground, almost exactly as she appears in the picture posted above. Presumambly the rust problem is getting worse... Claire

As another volunteer with the base concerned, I'll just add a little to this. I'm sure we all suspect the local urchins and also suspect that the boat has not got very far. However this boat is quite likely to be in the undergrowth on the non towpath side, not somewhere we can easily search, so if anyone does spot an abandoned yellow dingy please let us know. Thank You Claire
