  3. Pencil lead is so smoothe, so that may work. Old wives tales are usually interesting.. Thankyou Heffalump for taking the time.
  4. Hello Canalworlders, The canopy on boat is a few years old now, the zips are a bit stiff and am wary that they will break, anyone know of something good that will help with this please, not wanting the expense of a new canopy at this time. Any good tips please folks.
  5. Well she has moved down to Wales now .... flock lining on ceiling is solid & is a right baa-stard to remove to be honest, but that's flock lining for ewe ! Ram-packed with plenty of the old character ! The Starship Enterprize on our little welsh canal !
  6. Hooray ... Looks like this is her !!! Window layout is identical, size and shape. Peak Boat from Cheshire. Love it, thankyou so very much arbutus xx So glad I joined this forum, fellow canal-boaters, chuffed now! Happy boating days everyone. : ))
  7. We had considered Dawncraft. Thanks Naughty Cal. She's a mystery to us, but we luvs her ! : ))
  8. Checked the registration number which says Peakland in 2013, don't know of any other previous names. Perhaps we will have to be satisfied with that. Thankyou Mr Norman. ..... Jocave, think this is the one you have seen on the Lancaster. Thankyou.
  9. Can anyone help to identify the boat pictured please. GRP 24'6" ... 6'6'' ... Cathedral or Triple Hull. BMC diesel inboard, Enfield Z-drive. Cabin entrance on left hand side of cock-pit. It is stated as Peakland Boats, checked them out but they are steel hulls and a lot bigger. Cannot seem to find another one like it, please could anyone help us out, going nuts searching. Thanks.
  10. Can anyone help to identify the boat pictured please. The thread that was started here seems similar to our question. GRP 24'6" ... 6'6'' ... Cathedral or Triple Hull. It is stated as Peakland Boats, checked them out but they are steel hulls and a lot bigger. Cannot seem to find another one like it, please could anyone help us out, going nuts searching. Thanks.
