The Rotate Project has now been suspended and apparently is to be reviewed for SC's five to ten year plan. Meanwhile the newly formed Lowland Canals Association are continuing to work with SC to obtain the best terms and conditions for boaters and all others interested in the continued useage and improved success of the Lowland Canal Network. Despite SC's attitude that the LCA is not a watchdog it is fair to say that many politicians both local and National consider it to be so. There has been some misunderstanding, again promoted by SC that the LCA is for boaters only, this is NOT true. The LCA welcomes membership from anyone interested in the Lowland Canal Network and we are in discussions with many businesses and voluntary organisations along the cut.
