  1. Yes I will know sat weather my repair was successful or if I've missed anything else, I have filled it with oil so not that. I think I may have missed something as I did try and move the clutch lever with a bar just to see if there was any movement , and there was not , the clutch didn't pull away not even a tiny bit , it's like it has seized on the shaft . But hey @ I'll fifind out sat .
  2. Yes sorry bit slow getting back as I'm waiting to strip my gearbox off on Saturday due to a heavy work load this week , I'll see hopefully what's up with things once it's off and can assess what I may need . Cheers foe helping with advice and may talk after sat when I know more ..
  3. Cheers for that , and yes I broke the spindle shaft whilst fitting it , I thought I had lined it up perfect but it was not to be unfortunately, I repaired the shaft snapped shaft but for some reason it's not coming out of forward gear nor into neutral now .

  7. So what you are saying is in forward position the brake band must be loose and when reverse is selected the hydaulics push the brake band piston up and tighten it to the drum .

    Please can anyone help ? I am so confused with my lh150 gearbox in its operation , I have stripped and re built the lm150 with new parts with relative ease so I felt confident doing this one , all I need is someone to explain why it's telling me in maintenance sheet for this gearbox that the brake band should be tight around the carrier .does the hydaulic push down the piston on the brake band to release it or does it push up to tighten it ? does the clutch only come out of engagement to allow neutral position ?
