  1. Thanks! This Is how I see It. Very helpful.
  2. Hi, I would like to take up a CRT mooring on the K and A at Devizes. They are sold on the basis of a Leisure mooring but I want a live aboard. How strict is the leisure mooring basis I wonder? There are no live aboard moorings being advertised nationally, I dont want to break the rules so, can anyone advise on this. Alternatively, I could go into a mooring at the Devizes marinas, can anyone recommend them or elsewhere, It could be Saltford Or Keynsham, Bradford upon Avon. Any advise welcome. Regards, Nelson.
  3. Hello there, I am having trouble powering a laptop and 12volt TV. Ive measured the output from the mains and Its a healthy 13 to 14 volts especially when the solar panel Is chucking out power. however, when I run the appliances, the power drops to 11.5 ish volts. The baterries are only 6 months old. When I run the engine the power Is fine but obviously I don't want to do that. Any Ideas anybody? I would rather not use an electrician due to bad experiences, In my opinion of overcharging but shall If I have to. Kind regards, Nick.

    Voltage

Hello there, I recently replaced batteties as I was getting a very inconsistent volatage to the 12volt mains interior. They were 3 years plus old and I live aboard so It made sense a bit. Turns out It was not that, when I take a reading from the mains, fine, 13 volts plus. but when I plug an appliance in, such as a laptop adaptor or tv the voltage drops considerably. Any ideas anyone please? The lighting is fine, bulbs nice and bright, I checked polarity of the socket and someone said the Isolater, whatever that Is was OK. It might be a job for an Electrician possibly, does anyone know of one In the Bradford upon Avon area? Kind regards, Nick.
