  1. Thanks for all the responses I've booked into the New Islington Marina.
  2. I'm heading up the Macclesfield Canal towards Manchester. I'm new to the area and would be grateful for any advice on safe moorings before making the trip though to Castlefield.
  3. I'm looking for a thermostat to work with our Webasto heater. Webasto have one but you can't set it to a specific temperature. Any ideas?
  4. Can anyone recommend a compact efficient heater for winter heating on a narrow boat ?
  5. They played the Thatchers Arms, Mount Bures , Essex last night , brilliant
  6. Can anyone recommend someone in the Essex/Herts area to splice a rope onto anchor chain. I'd have a go myself but as it's the anchor I don't want to take a chance.
  7. Wel done Chop, glad you finally made it. I look forward to buying you a drink at the Thatchers.
  8. Does anyone know how much diesel a Webasto heater uses per hour. As I have only got 1 fuel tank it's hard to know how much is for the engine and how much for the heater.
  9. We must have been lucky. we stayed for 2 nights at the End of September and another night early October on our way to Limehouse. All was quiet and no trouble.
  10. Does anyone have any suggestions for an easy fit water guage. I have a 150 gall s/s tank.
  11. I'm planning to take our 57ft narrow boat to the middle reaches of the Nene next year. Can anyone recommend long term non residential moorings. Water ,electricity ans elsan would be useful.
  12. If you look on their web-site it appears that they have ceased trading
