  1. Does anyone know of someone in the Droitwich area that would be able to assist? Thanks
  2. I never knew you could get such things. I've just googled it and found one. Thanks!
  3. I'm thinking about buying one of these:- and it says:- It has an integrated low-noise amplifier which can be powered either by the antenna power out option on your set top box, digital TV or even via the 12V or 24V DC power cord supplied. My TV is 12v and uses the only socket available at the site. Is there such a thing as an adaptor that I can plug both things into before plugging into the 12v socket? Many thanks
  4. Thanks for the replies, very helpful.
  5. I'm painting the sides of my boat. How long should I leave freshly applied paint before being able to put masking tape on to paint another section? Thanks.
  6. Didn't know that such things could be had. Thanks
  7. I've just spent ages cleaning out the nozzle of a used silicone tube (the ones you use with a gun) with a nail and WD40 red plastic 'stick' so that I could do some more sealing. What a messy job! Last time I used it, I covered the nozzle end with cling film but that clearly didn't work as there was a decent sized lump in it. What does anyone else do? I don't particularly want to tackle the mess each time but then neither do I want to throw away a non-empty tube.
  8. Great! Thanks everyone.
  9. I currently listen to music via iTunes on my laptop which I power with a 12v adaptor. I was wondering if an iPod would be:- 1. Less power hungry 2. Can be connected to an external speaker (I have an X-mini) 3. Can be charged with a 12v adaptor Anyone help with this?
  10. Thanks both. I'm now booked in for as long as need be and I don't have to move berths...bonus! ‚Äč
  11. The Severn is currently closed, and has been since 28th March, between Lincombe lock and Gloucester. Does anyone know if it is close to getting on green boards? I am currently in Droitwich Marina and am due to leave today. However, if the river is nowhere near close to green then I am minded to ask if I can stay a bit longer. Thanks
  12. Thanks everyone.
  13. Anyone know where I can get one of these? Looks like the sun has cooked it.
  14. Monsieur Hulot's Holiday
  15. Really made me smile
