  1. Also , if power for lighting isnt an issue , turn as many lights on as well . Make it look light inside . As otgers have said . Light the stove if you have one or turn the heatting on . Make a very comfy , open and warm boat . Good luck

  4. Kingston area the theames has risen atleast 6inch over the last couple hours , is lapping the edge of the bank hampton court side , kingston side is still about 6inch off the towpath and running fast

  8. Anyone whos really worried about it can drop a few drops of peroxide into there water tank once a year to stop any issues . Just make sure you know what you doing .
  9. Hi all , While at work today , noticed a creamy couloured NB unsure on length , sitting very low at the back . Its about 300 - 400 yard from kingston road bridge.   17. i have a question though . what sort of size would be classed as too big ? 72ft sounds nice , but after reading into what fits where on the system . it seems like 57ft is the "smallest biggest" nb you could have to cruise certain parts of a system?

  21. for what its worth , i think ive learnt some etiquette for the canal .....never call someone a dickhead unless you want to be called a water pikey . or something like that ... but seriously . the link a couple pages back was helpfull .
  22. how would something be stopped like it though? sand bagging the reservoir outlets to the canal? Its gonna annoy me as i was looking at going though there in about 3 weeks time. can someone advise me as to where the closest winding hole to the locks are for a 50ft'er is on the banbury side of claydon? editted to spell reservoir is a way that its actully understandable lol!
