there has been a huge fire at a plastic recycling plant at miton stoke on trent with clouds of black smoke . ealier parts of milton were closed off including the canal towpath

My son left the boat for an early morning walk along the towpath of the Macc , he saw a woman a few boats from ours so he said "morning" , she replied "morning", then said "will you do me a favour, and hold my ferret for me while I get this coal" my son says "does it bite" , no said the woman you can stroke it if you like" so son holds the long ferret and strokes it, what a lovely start to the day. nora
