  16. Making journey home from Saul marina on Saturday to Tattenhall in the northwest. I noticed the weather gone colder this week, are the canals still thawed or is anyone iced in. The route am planning to take is up the river Seven to Stourport basin, Then onwards up the Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal, then Shropshire union to chester. Be grateful if anyone knows of any problems on route, I know about booking the passage at Gloucester to get on to the river seven. Thank you, Mark

  23. Excellent point as we do have diesel heating Just out of interest if anyone was at saul marina Saturday just gone and thought a N/B was on fire, just to put you mind at rest it was me trying to light the Morso Squirrel fire. No joke 5 mins after, the family ran for cover as I opened ever door and windows. I think I have it under control now! as I think the problem was I dint close the Ventilation screws back in to adjust the flames…. If I try again I will inform local fire brigade
  24. checking Fuel levels in diesel tank, is there a better way than a stale/broom handle. Seems an easy way, Is there any better ideas out there? How do most of you do it?.....Mark
