  1. I just saw 105 mentioned as battery type ,thought he may have brought a 6v battery ie trojen which would cause the issues .

  5. I've stopped at bridge holes on hearing a horn a few times then wait ages for the boat to appear ,I think a few use the horn to give them selves right of way.

  8. Some cookers come with different jets and instructions how to convert. You change the jets in the burners and I had to remove control knobs to access adjustment for flame hieght on low or simmer setting.all settings given in detail in the instructions
  9. Didnt spot that one,just assumed mobile use but it is specific about not using in boats a caravan. I suppose it's because of boats and caravans can be very close to each other and interfere with nieghbours maybe
  10. I have been googling this subject because at some locations I need to go outside of boat ,ok with warm sunshine ,to get any internet or calls. There are booster for cell phones but ofcom made some illegal ,so they are for sale online but you need to check it's the legal type .if advertised as open to any network it's the naughty type and can cause interference. Legal ones are setup for the network u use. I dont have one so not sure there any good ,and my info is just what i picked up with 1/2 hours googling
  11. Once the stoves lit you will be looking to remove the excess heat that soon builds up ,I'd allow good air flow in bilge area ,if it gets any water down there it will be easier to dry out.if using laminate or carpet flooring u could fit underlay first

When I had a dish I set it up then glued a spirit level bubble (just the glass part) so that you can quickly adjust the up/down part then a compass to find south then slowly turn dish till u hear the tv come alive .didnt have signal finder .   13. Since freeview upped the power and closed analogue tv ,I dismantled the freesat as simple omni antenna and amp lifier work well enough ,and simple to just raise pole ,and return if moving to new transmitter

  17. If your engine heating coil in the califlower is pin holed then water pressure from domestic supply will over flow in engine coolent circuit The picture shows pipe and container connected to engine coolant tank ,why i think the above is happening

Without looking in manual for bvm ,the voltage reading showing in pic is the upper and lower alarm settings,cant remember how you switch out of setup mode but when out of there you use the up down arrows to show volts amps state of charge time left to go etc .i only ever bother watching volts amps .

  22. Yes dave ,alan said you did the paint work .it made the front cover of a boat mag in 95 which was given to me not sure if you did the repaint (not sure what year that would have been .

My orion was launched feb 95 at brockmoor.it was then sailed to ashwood for final fitout so must of been one of the last few to be built there.im the 2nd owner but the original owner gave me launch photos and full history .i brought the boat via richard brokerage and he gave a lot of time explaining the orions build design etc .

Hi Im getting a small leak on the toilet (but getting worse )from the doughnut seal,i changed the seal on my 2 cassettes a few weeks ago which stopped the leak but after a couple of weeks it started again .i use silicon spray on the rubber and the flange where the seal joins the loo to casette is clean.i can only think there is wear on the cassette or bowl stopping the meeting faces being tight.any thoughts please .the toilet is 6 years old not sure about cassettes but proberly 3 years old and on there 2nd seal o think
